Non-return valves that are offered by MANGIONE CONSULTING UG Company are a high class product from compressor and non-return valves and parts manufacturer with perennial work experience. Our company has mastered the production of automated butterfly and ring valves for the cylinders of reciprocating compressors with non-metallic shut-off valves made of structural high-temperature polymer materials.

Our company has successfully developed valves analogous to direct-flow PIK valves. By having higher efficiency than direct-flow PIK valves, they have proven to work perfectly with the following types of compressors: 4V (G) M10-55 / 71, 6M25-120 / 1438, 6GM25-120 / 14-38, 6M25-140 / 35-56 and 6GM25- 140 / 35-56.

These valves are highly leakproof, present superior tightness and machine uptime of at least 8640 hours.
When designing valves we calculate optimal gas dynamic characteristics depending on the shape of the flow path and the elevation of the plate. Losses of pressure and force are determined by considering the type of compressible gas, the degree of compression in the cylinders and the speed of the piston. The dynamics of the movement of the plates are modeled based on the rigidity of the springs, the mass of the moving elements and the rotational frequency of the crankshaft.


The functioning of the presented automated butterfly valves is as follows:
The valves open due to the action of the force created by the gas pressure in the cylinder, which exceeds the force of the springs and the inertial force of the plates. If the pressure decreases, the valves begin to close.
The movement (opening and closing) of the shut-off elements in the automated valves is carried out by the gas flow itself, due to the pressure difference in the working space of the cylinder and the pipe.
The automated valves located in the compressor’s cylinders maintain the suction and discharge pressures automatically, which are very close to the pressure in the suction and discharge pipes.
