Compressor valves
Plate valves for oxygen compressors
Oxygen places special demands on cleanliness, materials and flow inside the valve. We develop and supply plate-type suction and discharge valves for oxygen compressors – oil- and grease-free and designed for your operating point.

What matters with oxygen
- Cleanliness: oil, grease and particles can ignite in oxygen. Valve parts for oxygen service are therefore cleaned and assembled oil- and grease-free.
- Material selection: metals and plastics behave very differently in oxygen. We select materials for seat, guard, valve plates and springs according to pressure, temperature and operating conditions.
- Flow inside the valve: high flow velocities and entrained particles are critical in oxygen service. We design flow area and valve lift accordingly.
- Smooth operation: a fluttering valve wears plates and springs and produces debris. We calculate spring force and lift for your operating point.
What we supply
- Plate-type suction and discharge valves for oxygen compressors, calculated for your operating point
- Oil- and grease-free execution of valves and valve parts
- Internals and repair kits: valve plates, valve springs, damper plates, seats and guards
- To your drawing or sample, including designs that are no longer available
What we need for a quotation
- Compressor make, type and nameplate (a photo is enough)
- Gas composition, pressures, temperatures, speed and flow rate
- Old part, drawing or photos with dimensions
- Quantity and delivery date
For corrosive process gases such as chlorine, see also valves for chlorine gas.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply the valves oil- and grease-free?
Yes. Valves and valve parts for oxygen service are supplied in oil- and grease-free execution.
Can you replicate an existing oxygen valve?
Yes – from a sample, drawing or photos with dimensions. We check materials and design for your operating data in the process.
Do you supply original parts?
No. We supply alternative parts, designed and specified under our own responsibility.
Send us a drawing, photo or nameplate
Send whatever you have – drawing, photo of the sample, nameplate or operating data. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days and prepare a free, non-binding quotation for you.
