Design, calculation & reverse engineering
Design, calculation and engineering in-house – OEM-independent, from planning to revamp under changed operating conditions.
Calculation of reciprocating compressors
- Thermodynamic and flow design of single- and multi-stage reciprocating compressors
- Pressures up to 500 bar
- All technical gases, including mixtures of up to 40 components
- Adaptation of existing compressors to new process conditions (gas, pressure, flow, speed)
- Material selection based on gas, pressure and temperature
Valve design with our own simulation
Our software was developed by compressor engineering specialists. It models the valve as a moving mass under gas and spring forces – based on the gas equations of state, thermodynamics of variable mass, unsteady gas flow and the dynamics of the valve plates. This lets us determine the optimum lift, the right springs and the pressure losses before a part is made.
Reverse engineering & custom parts
Your part is obsolete, the drawing is missing, the manufacturer no longer exists? We measure the sample, reconstruct the geometry, select the material and manufacture the part – technically improved on request.
- Enquiry: sample, photos, dimensions, drawing or nameplate
- Analysis & calculation: geometry, material, operating point
- Design: manufacturing drawing to our own design or to your template
- Manufacturing & delivery: single part, repair kit or ready-to-install assembly – with documentation in German, English or Russian
Frequently asked questions
Do you work independently of the OEM?
Yes. We calculate and design for reciprocating compressors of all makes – from new projects to revamps of existing installations.
What is reverse engineering of compressor parts?
Reconstructing a part from a sample or photo when no drawing exists or the original part is no longer available. We create a manufacturing drawing and produce the part.
Send us a drawing, photo or nameplate
Send whatever you have – drawing, photo of the sample, nameplate or operating data. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days.
